The effect of the COVID-19 pandemic caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2 is undoubtedly immeasurable. The ongoing threat to the health and wellbeing of people has resulted in the implementation of restrictive measures. It includes lockdowns, quarantines, travel ban, and more, which significantly took a toll on people’s mental health and daily lives.
Aside from being a health crisis, it is also an economic disaster as various businesses from different industries are forced to halt operations temporarily. If the pandemic continuous to persist, significant losses will sure to cumulate far into the future.
A year and a half of being under the pandemic, considerable changes happened, including the ease of guidelines for mask and physical distancing. Some countries that were able to mitigate the virus’s spread are considering resuming face-to-face classes and work.
However, the question “when will the pandemic end?” remains unknown. One can only hope it will end soon. For sure, eliminating the virus cannot be done in an instant. But on the brighter side, there are ways which people can do to ensure its definite end.
Part of the effort is getting a Covid-19 test which plays a significant role in mitigating the virus’s spread. People can choose to get tested by either one of the two diagnostic tests: an antigen test or pcr test that can determine whether a person is currently infected with the virus.
Many airlines require travelers to get a fit to fly covid test to certify that they are fit to travel as they are committed to preventing the virus from being spread via air. Accordingly, most states and territories do not allow travelers to enter unless they prove that they got a fit to fly covid test before boarding their plane.
Also, others only ever allow a negative COVID-19 test result from a PCR test as it is more accurate and there is no risk of having false negatives.
